As an OEM partner, create PDF signatures with the integration interface of the customer's very own primesign SIGNATURE SERVER. Ideal for applications that are operated in the customer's sphere.

Can I also sign several documents in one step?

Yes, when using a primesign signing certificate or when using "Sign with eID" multiple documents can be signed in one single step, i.e. with just one signature authorization. Each of the uploaded documents gets signed.

My users already have national electronic identities (eIDs). Can these be used?

+ Use selected eIDs directly for signing via "Sign with eID"

+ Use selected eIDs with our onboarding as an alternative to video identification

+ Currently supported eIDs: German Identity Card, ID Austria/mobile phone signature

How does the registration for a primesign signing certificate work?

If you do not have a signing certificate yet, get your qualified primesign signing certificate issued promptly via remote identification such as video or eID (e.g. German Identity Card, ID Austria/mobile phone signature). The onboarding process can be started around the clock from home or the office and only takes a few minutes. Video identification is available daily from 07:00 to 22:00 (CET).

Alternatively, users with eID can also sign with their eID instantly and without registering ( "Sign with eID")

Hash signing or document signing - which is right for me?

+ With hash signing, your application handles the preparation of the PDF document, the preparation of the CMS signature, creation of the PDF signature and the visual display of the signature in the PDF. primesign only receives the hash value. More about our Hash Signing API.

+ With document signing, primesign is responsible for the creation of the PDF signature, the visual preparation of the signature (stamp) and to add all required LTV information. Additionally, primesign can also add a qualified timestamp on request. More about our Document Signing API.

Are transactions charged per signature or per document?

+ primesign allows to sign several documents in one step (batch signing).

+ Billing per signature transaction, regardless of whether 1 or 10 documents are signed in one step.

Data protection is very important to me. What do I need to consider when using primesign signatures?

+ When using hash signing, documents always remain with your application. primesign only receives the hash values and cannot draw any conclusions about the content of the documents.

+ Identity data required for issuing certificates is always stored securely in our infrastructure in certified data centers in Austria. Data storage for 30 years+ to allow for long-term verifiability.

Does primesign also offer qualified timestamps? When using Document Signing, eIDAS-compliant qualified time stamps can be added to the PDF document on request.

What standards does primesign meet with its signatures?
