PrimeSign Accessibility Statement
PrimeSign GmbH is a trust service provider that offers complete solutions for issuing and using qualified certificates for electronic signatures and seals. These can be used by natural and legal persons to conclude digital transactions.
We are committed to make our online services and our website accessible in accordance with the Accessibility Act as amended for the implementation of the European Accessibility Directive (Directive 2019/882) on the accessibility requirements for products and services.
Current deviations from the accessibility requirements
Perceivability
Support for assistive technologies such as screen readers or the provision of multisensory information has not yet been fully implemented.
A read-aloud function is not explicitly implemented, but functionalities of the application used by the user, such as Adobe Acrobat, can be used.
Operability/Usability
The following content or functions are currently not or only partially barrier-free:
- Contrast: Some texts and symbols of our products do not yet stand out sufficiently from the background. Alternative texts for complex graphic content are sometimes missing.
- Full keyboard operability is not available for certain interactions.
- Forms and interactive elements do not always contain descriptive labels.
Understandability
Our Terms of Use, the description of our services, explanations of how they are provided, and the relevant procedures to be followed for their safe use are available in electronic form on our website.
These documents are available for download in PDF format. You will also find older documents and content that may not be fully barrier-free. As these were published before 28.06.2025, they are exempt from the Accessibility Act. Comprehensive amendments to these documents are not possible without considerable effort and corresponding processing times. These documents have already been electronically signed and approved by the relevant supervisory authorities/agencies in their current form.
For future PDFs, we will endeavor to take accessibility requirements into account.
Robustness
Presentation of information: Semantically related information, which should be presented as related units, e.g. in the form of lists or groups of elements, is sometimes prepared in a form that does not always make their relationships clearly recognizable.
Multiple links with the same destination: In one of our applications, there are occasionally several consecutive links with different labels that refer to the same content. This redundancy can make navigation more difficult and impair the user experience.

The listed incompatibilities with the accessibility regulations are constantly being corrected. Usability and accessibility are very important to us. If you encounter barriers when using our services or on our website that hinder or restrict your use, please do not hesitate to contact us.
